Beginning Announcement
This month, we started this new class, even though there are only three students!
I enjoy teaching this small group and am happy to see that the students are happy learning Chinese each Tuesday afternoon!
I will keep recording what we've been working on in this class and post text and pictures on this blog site. This blog is mainly for parents; you are more than welcome to ask questions, to chat at drop-off or pick-up time, and to check in with this blog site periodically.
As both the teacher and one of you, the parent, I'm learning by doing and I'm trying my best to improving my students Chinese skills, which including listening, reading, and writing, both modern and ancient Chinese texts. Thank you for your support to your kids' Chinese learning out of its native social and cultural environment! The consistent support from the parents is the key of a successful heritage language learner!
